When I was a kid I gave up eating animals, much to the chagrin of my meat-loving family. I became the ultimate junk food vegetarian, subsisting on Cheetos and chocolate malts. After college my eating habits improved some, but I was far from aware of the enormous connection between diet and health. About six years ago I became vegan and found myself bombarded with questions about how I met my nutritional needs.
I didn’t know. So I decided to educate myself and what I learned was nothing short of astounding.
HOW DO PEOPLE NOT KNOW THIS? I felt like I’d unlocked the secret to living a healthy, vibrant life. And I want to share this knowledge with everyone! Through diet, we have the ability to take control of our health and well-being in ways far surpassing that of modern medicine. And it’s never too late to start!
Today, my diet looks very different from the years of chips and cheese. And I feel very different. I have energy and a joie de vivre that comes from good health. When conversations revolve around health issues, doctor visits, pills, and side effects, I no longer believe that’s inevitable for me, too. It’s liberating. I want to help you do that, too!
